New to BookEazy
  • What is BookEazy? BookEazy ensures that you never have to miss a good movie. You can search for show times and book tickets with our partner theatres online. Once booked, your tickets are confirmed for that show. The best part is that you pay for your tickets when you arrive at the theatre. No extra trips to the box-office. No online payment hassles for every booking.
  • Why should I use BookEazy? If you enjoy the big screen experience but hate booking tickets in advance, if you love surprising your friends with confirmed tickets but hate paying online each time, if you won't settle for the pirated VCD or the tiny TV screen experience, if you want to be SURE that you will never be disappointed on arrival at the theatre, you must use BookEazy.
  • Which theatres in Pune can I buy tickets for? We've launched the service with E-square, CityPride Kothrud, CityPride Satara road, INOX and Fame Jai Ganesh (Akurdi). We'll be adding more theatres soon.
  • Are my tickets confirmed? Yes. Once booked, your tickets are confirmed. You can arrive any time to pay and collect them from the theatre.
  • How does BookEazy work? Do go over our How it Works page for details on how you can use BookEazy to book tickets.
  • How much does the service cost? Please have a look at our sign up page for all plans available for purchase online.
  • Does my service fee expire if I don't book tickets? Your pre-paid service fee never expires. The tickets stay in your online account balance. If you exhaust your balance tickets, you can buy another refill.
  • Why is there a confirmation deposit? Tickets booked on BookEazy are confirmed on arrival at the theatre. The deposit is to ensure that your tickets are kept for you even if the show is full, or if you arrive late. The complete deposit amount is always kept intact and returned to you if you cancel your account provided that you have no ticket payments pending on your account.
  • How do I signup? If you would like to join the service, please fill our online sign up form.
  • How do I pay for and collect my tickets? When you arrive at the theatre, go to the special window reserved for BookEazy customers. Tell the operator your name and the booking code that was sent to you in the booking SMS or booking e-mail. The operator will punch in the code and verify your booking. Pay the box office price and collect your tickets.
  • Can I just try the service? Just sign up and give us a chance. If you don't enjoy the service, click on 'Cancel My Account' and we'll return your deposit amount within seven business days.
  • Is the service fee refundable? Unfortunately, once paid, the service fee cannot be refunded. However, we will refund your deposit amount as long as there are no ticket payments due on your account. If you are unhappy, we suggest that you use the balance tickets on your account before requesting for the refund. Do write back to us with your feedback so that we can improve the service.
Booking
  • How do I book tickets? On BookEazy you can start your search by some of the popular movies that are open for booking and displayed on the home page.

    You can also start your search by selecting, the movie name, the show date and the number of tickets from the pulldown menus on the home page and then click on "Search".

    You can modify your search with the help of the pulldown menus present above the search results and then click on "Search" to refresh the search results.

    From the search results, choose a theatre and show time from the shows that have available tickets. Select the class of seats from "Seat Options" and the Row where you would like to sit. Approximate seating charts have been provided to help you determine where you will be sitting in relation to the screen. Click on "Proceed to Booking".

    You will be asked to login to BookEazy in order to confirm your booking before it is completed. After logging in, confirm your order details and all total ticket prices and click on "Place booking order" to confirm your booking. We will send you an SMS and an e-mail with the confirmation code for your booking. Have the SMS or a print out of the confirmation code with you at the theatre.

    Your tickets are waiting for you at the theatre. Come in any time, show your confirmation code in the SMS at the BookEazy box office window, pay the total ticket price and collect your tickets. Enjoy the movie!
  • How many tickets can I book at a time? The maximum number of tickets you can book at a time is determined by the Plan you purchased when you signed up for BookEazy. For example, if you purchased the 4 at a time plan, you can have between 1 and 4 tickets awaiting payment at theatre. Also, if you book 2 tickets for a show, you can book 2 more tickets for another show. After you have watched the first show, you can book 2 more. Your ticket limit gets adjusted every time you pay at the theatre.
  • Will I get seat numbers when I book? Selected theatres on BookEazy may assign seat numbers to BookEazy members at the time of completion of booking. However, not all theatres assign seating in advance and will instead assign selected rows in the movie hall for BookEazy members. These row assignments are clearly displayed before you complete your booking. In all cases, your tickets are confirmed when you complete your booking with BookEazy.
  • Can I book tickets in any class? Most of our theatre partners currently support advance booking for the best class (seats). So, the seats you book through BookEazy will be in the best class for now. Fame Akurdi and E-Square allow BookEazy members to book tickets in any price class. We will keep you updated through our blog as to when lower class seats will be available for booking for other partner theatres as well.
  • How many days in advance can I book? BookEazy allows booking for all shows as soon as the schedule is released at the box-office. So, if you can buy it in advance at the box-office, you can always buy it on BookEazy. Typically, multiplex box-offices allow booking two days in advance.
  • Can I make bookings for two shows? You may use BookEazy to book tickets for as many shows as long as the total number of tickets awaiting payment does not exceed your plan amount. For example, if your plan permits 4 tickets at a time, you can book up to a total of 4 tickets across different shows at a time. When you pay for your tickets at the theatre you can then log back in to BookEazy to book more tickets.
  • I cannot book tickets using my account. What could be going wrong? You may have reached the maximum number of pending tickets allowed by the plan you purchased. If you feel this is in error, get in touch with us.
  • How do I view my last booking? Click on My Account and choose "View Booking History" from your account options to view your last booking, booking confirmation code, show details and booking status.
  • I did not get the booking SMS/e-mail. How do I know if my booking was completed? You can verify if your booking was completed by clicking on My Account and choosing "View Booking History". Do remember to take a print out of your booking code with you when you arrive at the theatre to collect your tickets.
  • Can I cancel or change my booking? BookEazy cannot cancel or change your booking once it has been confirmed. On submitting your booking request to BookEazy, we confirm your tickets with the multiplex immediately. This also means that your tickets are no longer available to other movie-goers for booking and cannot be resold by BookEazy. Our theatre partners do NOT allow cancellation of a booking once confirmed. BookEazy service fees also cannot be refunded. We are working hard to make sure that you can book tickets as close to the show time as possible so please book only when you're absolutely SURE. As always,your feedback is very important and we will convey it to our theatre partners.
  • What happens if the show is cancelled by the theatre? We try our best to inform you as soon as the theatre informs us. We will also cancel your booking order so you can avoid going to the theatre. However, if the show is cancelled at the last minute after your arrival, the Theatre will handle the situation for all customers who have confirmed booking.
  • When is the latest I can book my tickets on BookEazy? Some Multiplexes halt online booking before the show start-time, typically 30 minutes to 2 hours before the show. In this case, the tickets will no longer be available for booking on BookEazy. We are working with our multiplex partners to ensure that tickets can be bought on BookEazy as close to the show time as possible.
Pay on arrival at the theatre
  • Do I need to stand in the current booking line? A majority of our partner theatres have reserved a window for BookEazy customers. Look for the BookEazy poster and inform the box office operator that you are a BookEazy customer.
  • What happens if I book and don't arrive at the theatre? Tickets once booked on BookEazy cannot be cancelled or refunded. It's just like buying the ticket from the box office window. We are not authorized to re-sell your ticket for you. If you don't pay for booked tickets at the theatre, the unpaid invoice will stay on your account. You will not be able to book any more tickets until you clear the invoice by making the payment to BookEazy. A fee for processing your outstanding ticket total may be applicable.
  • Are special offers applicable on theatre tickets booked on BookEazy? BookEazy members may avail of offers and discounts on their tickets if permitted by the theatre. Please check with the theatre for the exact terms and conditions around your offer or discount for more information.

  • How do I search for schedules on my mobile ? sms "MOVIE <keywords>" to 56070 The keywords can be any combination of the following: <movie-name> <theatre-name> <time> <language>. To know more click here
  • Can I book movie tickets on SMS ? We will be enabling SMS booking soon. Currently you can search for movies and theatre schedules on your SMS. If you have a GPRS enabled mobile phone, you can book your tickets on http://m.bookeazy.com
  • Do I have to be a BookEazy member to search schedules on my mobile ? You don't need to be a member of BookEazy to search schedules on SMS.
  • How do I search for movies playing in a particular language ? To search for movies playing in a particular language - sms "MOVIE <language-name>" and send it to 56070. E.g. If you want to search for all Telugu movies sms "MOVIE<space>telugu" to 56070 To know more click here

  • Which all theatre schedules are supported ? You can search for schedules for any of our partner theatres - E-square, Inox, City Pride Kothrud, City Pride Satara, Fame Jai Ganesh (Akurdi), Mangala, Adlabs
  • Can I search for schedules for any city? You can currently search for schedules for any of our partner theatres in Pune.
  • How much will I get charged per SMS ? The premium rates will apply for SMS. The SMS rates will typically be between Rs. 1 and Rs. 3 and will vary based on the operator.
Your account
  • I forgot my password. How do I login? If you have forgotten your password, or if your password is not working for some reason, we can send you a new one. You'll need your BookEazy login ID and the birthday you provided when you registered your account. Fill out the forgot password form and a new password will be assigned to you. Your new password will be sent to the e-mail address you provided when you registered your account.
  • I created a new account. What do I do now? After your payment has been confirmed, BookEazy will dispatch instructions to activate your account and you can then book tickets for yourself and for your friends and family with popular theatres and multiplexes in Pune.
  • Where can I see my account details? Click on the My Account link and login to BookEazy to pull up your account details.
  • What does account balance mean? Your account balance tells you how many more tickets you can book with BookEazy before you need to refill your account. Every time you book tickets with BookEazy, the same number is deducted from your account balance.
  • How do I refill my balance? Ordering a refill is easy. Click on My Account and then choose "Refill Account" from your account options. Follow the wizard to order a new refill.
  • It says I have unpaid bookings on my account. What should I do? Your account may have unpaid bookings if the theatre has not confirmed payment for your booking. If you were not able to go for the movie, please login into your BooEazy account and follow the instructions to pay for your tickets. If you did go for the movie and think this is an error, please retain the proof of payment i.e. the actual tickets issued to you by the theatre and get in touch with us. Please mention your login ID when writing to us to help us serve you better.
  • When will BookEazy be available in my city? Get in touch with us, tell us about yourself, where you live, and we will update you when we plan to launch in your city.
  • How do I change my mobile number? Click on My Account to pull up your account details. Choose "Change Profile" from your account options. Change your mobile number in the form and click on "Save Changes" to save your new mobile number with us.
  • How do I change my contact information? Click on My Account to pull up your account details. Choose "Change Profile" from your account options. Change your contact information in the form and then click on "Save Changes" to save your new information with us.
  • How do I change my e-mail address? You'll need to help us verify your new e-mail address. Contact BookEazy support, mention your BookEazy login ID and we will help you verify and register your new e-mail address with BookEazy.
  • How do I cancel my membership? Click on My Account, choose "Cancel Account" from your account options. Fill out the form to let us know that you would like to cancel your membership. We will courier a cheque for the refundable deposit amount to the address on your account.
  • Why do you need my e-mail address? Your e-mail address is also your login ID. We use it to send you a copy of all transactions and orders you place on BookEazy. If you have permitted us, we may send you special discounts given to BookEazy by its multiplex and retail partners. If you have any concerns, please contact us. We take your privacy very seriously.
  • Why do you need my mobile number? Your mobile number is required to SMS you the booking confirmation code after booking. You need to have this code with you when you go to the theatre to collect your tickets. We use the mobile to call you in case the show is cancelled by the theatre. If you have any concerns, please contact us. We take your privacy very seriously.
Gift a Membership:
  • How do I gift a membership ? To gift a BookEazy membership, click on the My Account link in top bar of any page on our website. Log on to your BookEazy account and then click on the Gift a membership link in the account options.
  • How do I claim my gift ? To claim your gift, click on the How-it-Works link mentioned in the gift e-mail sent to you. Enter your gift code and create your account. Once your BookEazy account is created you can start booking instantly.
  • When does a Gift Membership expire? A Gift Membership expires within 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • Who receives the refundable deposit if the gift account is cancelled ? The deposit is returned to the person who was gifted the account if he/she cancels the account provided that there are no ticket payments pending on the account.
  • Is a Gift Membership transferrable? No a Gift Membership can only be redeemed by the person to whom it is addressed.
Other questions
  • Why is there a transaction fee for unpaid bookings? Your tickets are kept for you and not resold by theatre even if the show were to be housefull. If you are unable to pay for your tickets at the theatre, BookEazy collects the tickets and completes payment to the theatre on your behalf. This involves additional processing and transaction fees on the ticket price.
